The foundation is built upon German malts and Dextrin, providing a subtle hint of malty biscuits and a balanced sweetness that offsets the assertive hop character. It finishes crisp and lingering, showcasing a refined interplay between Pacific hop oils and a smooth, medium-bodied malt backbone.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber in color (7-11 SRM). The beer displays brilliant clarity and is topped with a persistent, off-white, creamy head that leaves decorative lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent notes of resinous pine, grapefruit zest, and a floral-tropical hint. A low but noticeable clean, grainy, and biscuity malt aroma provides a solid foundation. Fermentation is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward, delivering bold flavors of orange pith, grapefruit, and pine needles. A moderate-high bitterness is present but well-balanced by a light toasted biscuit malt character. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering hop resin and citrus aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crisp sensation. Alcohol warmth is very low, making for a refreshing and highly drinkable profile.
