Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (8–14 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a massive, long-lasting, rocky off-white head that leaves persistent Belgian lace. Highly effervescent with visible carbonation streams.
Aroma. High intensity bouquet of spicy, peppery phenols and fruity esters reminiscent of pear and yellow apple. A complex malt base provides hints of toasted biscuit and light honey from the five-malt blend. Low to moderate herbal and floral hop character with soft alcohol perfume.
Taste. Initial impression of toasted grain and soft malt sweetness, quickly overtaken by peppery alcohol and herbal hop flavors. Esters of pear and orange zest are prominent.
