Statim Finis is a decadent Double IPA that balances intense modern hop character with the softening influence of milk sugar. The nose is an explosion of tropical and citrus notes driven by heavy additions of Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Ella hops, offering layers of mango, passionfruit, and bright grapefruit. The palate follows with a lush, creamy texture from the lactose, which rounds out the firm bitterness typical of the style. Expect a saturated hop experience where resinous pine undertones meet ripe stone fruit sweetness, finishing with a well-integrated alcohol warmth that highlights its 8.7% strength while remaining dangerously drinkable.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM). Pours with a dense, creamy, off-white head that shows excellent persistence and lacing. Exhibits a slight to moderate haze characteristic of heavy dry-hopping and milk sugar additions.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring heavy tropical fruit, passionfruit, mango, and pink grapefruit zest from the Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Ella. A background of clean, grainy malt is present, along with a hint of sweet creaminess from milk sugar and low fruity esters.

Taste. Dominant hop flavors of pineapple, citrus oils, and ripe stone fruit. Bitterness is firm and assertive but smooth, balanced by a light, bready malt backbone and a delicate lactose sweetness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste and clean fermentation character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture enhanced by milk sugar. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without any solvent-like harshness or astringency.
