This English Porter is a nostalgic sensory tribute to the iconic Dixon’s Milk Ice, blending a base of Pinhead Oats and Oat Malt with premium Madagascan Vanilla. On the palate, the addition of milk sugar delivers a creamy, luscious sweetness that elevates the traditional bready and toasty malt character. Expect a bouquet of milk chocolate and soft toffee, complemented by a delicate floral hop note and significant vanilla presence. The mouthfeel is exceptionally velvety and smooth, mimicking a chilled dairy treat while maintaining the classic dark brown depth of the style, finishing with a comforting, lingering sweetness.
Appearance. Deep brown with rich ruby highlights. Topped with a persistent, creamy, light tan head that leaves moderate lacing. Generally clear, though it may show a subtle density from the oats and lactose.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity of Madagascan Vanilla and milk chocolate. Beneath the sweetness, there are notes of toasted bread, toffee, and a hint of nutty malt. Very low earthy hop aroma with a touch of fruity esters like plum or dried cherry.
Taste. The initial impression is sweet and milky, dominated by vanilla and creamy lactose. A complex malt backbone follows, featuring flavors of biscuit, milk chocolate, and soft roast. De color negro azabache y coronada por una capa de espuma beige que hace de esta una birra super super apetecible.
Para rematar la experiencia y hacerla mucho mas agradable se añade vainilla de Madagascar durante la fermentación que redondea mucho más la experiencia junto con el terciopelo que deja la lactosa con los copos de avena.
