Glorious Mess is a lush and indulgent Wild Specialty Beer that leans heavily into its smoothie-inspired roots. A collaborative effort between Mad Scientist and Hop Hooligans, this pour offers an intense tropical explosion of ripe Mango and zesty Pineapple, grounded by the velvety stone fruit depth of Apricot. The sensory experience is defined by a thick, ice cream-like texture and a vibrant lactic tartness that cuts through the rich fruit purée. While the wild fermentation provides a clean, bright acidic backbone, the focus remains on the saturated fruit character and a creamy, lactose-driven sweetness that replicates a decadent frozen treat.
Appearance. Opaque and viscous, resembling a dense fruit smoothie; color is a vibrant, saturated deep orange to golden-yellow. Head is thick and mousse-like with moderate retention, often showing a persistent orange tint.
