Inspired by the complexity of Gueuze, LoverBeer Nebiulin-a is a sophisticated Italian Grape Ale that blends three years of aged base beer with noble Nebbiolo grapes from La Morra. This deep orange to copper ale offers a vibrant bouquet of wild fermentation character, driven by lactic bacteria and Brettanomyces, which melds seamlessly with lush aromas of rose, violet, and red fruits. On the palate, a bright acidity punctuates intense flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and pomegranate. The vinous influence of the Nebbiolo provides a structured, bone-dry finish, complemented by a gentle 8% alcohol warmth that balances its tart, refreshing complexity.

Appearance. Color ranges from an attractive orange to deep copper (approximately 16–22 SRM). It typically exhibits a thin, off-white to pale pinkish head with moderate to low retention, and remains mostly clear to slightly hazy.

Aroma. High intensity featuring a complex interplay of vinous grape character and wild fermentation. Prominent notes of rose and violet petals weave through a basket of red fruits including strawberry and raspberry. Subtle earthy, leathery Brettanomyces funk and a clean lactic sharpness are present, with minimal hop or malt influence.

Taste. Initial impression is briskly acidic and vinous. Dominant flavors of tart cherry, pomegranate, and red berries are layered over a subtle, cracker-like malt base. The wild character provides depth without being overwhelming. Bitterness is very low, allowing the grape tannins and acidity to drive the balance. Finishes very dry and elegantly tart with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high, prickly carbonation that enhances the fruit aromatics. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth provides a pleasant sensation. Very low astringency despite the grape skin contact.
