D`uvaBeer is an elegant and complex Italian Grape Ale that artfully showcases the addition of Freisa grape must. The sensory experience is defined by a vibrant red fruit profile, offering distinct notes of wild strawberry, tart raspberry, and red currant. This fruit-forward character is balanced by a refreshing citric acidity reminiscent of fresh lemon. Beneath the bright fruit, subtle rustic notes provide a wild depth typical of spontaneous character. At 8% alcohol, a gentle warmth develops on the palate, harmonizing with a sharp, wine-like astringency. It is a sophisticated hybrid, marrying the structural elegance of red wine with the soul of a wild ale.

Appearance. Deep ruby to reddish-copper hue (18-22 SRM) with a slight haze. The head is pinkish-white with medium-low retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; dominated by vinous red fruit notes of strawberry, raspberry, and red currant. A subtle lemony citric sharpness cuts through, accompanied by faint earthy, barnyard-like wild fermentation notes. Malt aroma is low and neutral, providing a clean backdrop for the fruit.

Taste. An initial impression of tart red berries leads into a complex mid-palate of raspberry and red currant. Moderate to high acidity provides a lemon-like zing. Malt flavor is supportive and cracker-like. Hop bitterness is very low, allowing grape tannins and acidity to drive the balance. The finish is long, bone-dry, and characterized by lingering fruit skins and a hint of funk.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high, effervescent carbonation. Notable astringency from grape skins provides a puckering, dry sensation. A pleasant, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable without being solventy.
