Long Live Beerworks

Celebrating seven years of craft, this Double IPA showcases an intense hop symphony derived from a complex blend of seven distinct varieties. Expect a vibrant explosion of tropical fruit, resinous pine, and bright citrus zest that dominates the sensory profile from start to finish. A clean, lean malt backbone provides just enough support to highlight the hop intensity without adding distracting sweetness. The palate follows the nose with a firm, assertive bitterness that remains smooth and refined. It finishes dry with a lingering hop resin character and a gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth, embodying the punchy yet drinkable nature of a modern Double IPA.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper with a slight, modern haze. Displays a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex medley of passion fruit, mango, and pink grapefruit, layered over resinous pine and floral undertones. Low, neutral, grainy maltiness in the background with a clean fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of citrus peel, tropical stone fruit, and pine. Malt flavor is low and supportive with a clean, soft character. Bitterness is high and firm but never harsh, leading into a dry finish. The aftertaste is dominated by a clean, lingering hop bitterness and fruit resins.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present without being solventy.
