Lieber Waldi Wuff is a quintessential Czech Premium Pale Lager that balances rustic complexity with refined elegance. A foundation of rich, bready barley malt provides a soft, honeyed sweetness that supports the prominent presence of Saazer hops. These traditional noble hops contribute a high-intensity bouquet of spicy, floral, and herbal notes. The 5% ABV ensures a sessionable weight, while the soft water profile creates a rounded, non-harsh bitterness that lingers pleasantly. Each sip offers a harmonious interplay between the complex malt sugars and the classic spicy hop finish, embodying the refreshing yet substantial character of a traditional Bohemian Pilsner.

Appearance. Medium yellow to deep gold color (4-6 SRM). Features a dense, long-lasting, creamy white head with excellent lacing. Clarity is brilliant to very clear.

Aroma. Medium-high intensity. Dominant bready-rich malt character with notes of fresh crust. The hop bouquet is medium-high, showcasing classic spicy, floral, and herbal Saazer notes. May exhibit a very low hint of diacetyl or subtle fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a rich, complex, bready maltiness followed by a pronounced yet soft and rounded bitterness. Hop flavors are medium-high, reflecting the spicy and floral qualities of the Saazer T90 pellets. Bitterness is firm but never harsh, provided in a 30-45 IBU context. The finish is long and balanced, moving from malt sweetness to a clean, herbal hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate to low, contributing to a creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is very light, and there is no perceived astringency.
