The aroma explodes with an intense bouquet of tropical fruit and piney resin, driven by heavy-hitters like Citra and Mosaic. Subtle spicy undertones from noble Saaz provide an elegant counterpoint to the vibrant berry and stone fruit notes. Despite its strength, the palate remains remarkably balanced, offering a firm bitterness that cuts through the smooth, creamy texture. It finishes clean and dry, leaving a lingering impression of citrus zest and forest floor, perfectly capturing the expansive diversity of its hop bill.
Appearance. SRM 7-9. Deep gold to pale orange with a slight haze typical of modern interpretations; supports a moderate, persistent white head with fine-beaded lacing.
Aroma. Intense and multifaceted hop character featuring bursts of mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus zest from Citra and Mosaic, layered over a distinct piney resin and a whisper of earthy spice from Saaz; malt is a neutral, grainy afterthought in the background.
Taste. Initial punch of tropical fruit and grapefruit gives way to a complex mid-palate of berry and pine; bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness, supported by a soft, clean malt backbone; the finish is dry and lingering with a citrus-rind aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notably smooth and creamy texture that masks the strength; moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift, while a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth emerges on the finish.
