Subtle spicy undertones from noble Saaz provide an elegant counterpoint to the vibrant berry and stone fruit notes. Despite its strength, the palate remains remarkably balanced, offering a firm bitterness that cuts through the smooth, creamy texture. It finishes clean and dry, leaving a lingering impression of citrus zest and forest floor, perfectly capturing the expansive diversity of its hop bill.
Appearance. SRM 7-9. Deep gold to pale orange with a slight haze typical of modern interpretations; supports a moderate, persistent white head with fine-beaded lacing.
Aroma. Intense and multifaceted hop character featuring bursts of mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus zest from Citra and Mosaic, layered over a distinct piney resin and a whisper of earthy spice from Saaz; malt is a neutral, grainy afterthought in the background.
Taste. Initial punch of tropical fruit and grapefruit gives way to a complex mid-palate of berry and pine; bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness, supported by a soft, clean malt backbone; the finish is dry and lingering with a citrus-rind aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notably smooth and creamy texture that masks the strength; moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift, while a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth emerges on the finish.
