La Superbe

La Superbe SPARTA is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a masterful blend of Galaxy, Citra, and El Dorado hops. This beer radiates with a luminous tropical character, offering an intense aromatic profile of passion fruit and peach driven by the Galaxy addition, complemented by the bright citrus zest of Citra. The use of El Dorado introduces unique notes of candy-like watermelon and pear. It pours with a signature opaque glow and a pillowy softness on the palate. The sensory experience is defined by its juicy saturation, minimal bitterness, and a smooth, bready malt foundation that emphasizes fruit expression above all else.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4 SRM) with a deep, uniform haze providing a luminous shine. Features a thick, white, meringue-like head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passion fruit, mango, and bright citrus zest. Secondary notes of pear and sweet melon emerge over a low, clean, bready malt background. Fermentation character is neutral with light fruity esters that support the hop profile.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the tropical aroma with notes of pineapple, tangerine, and stone fruit. Low grainy-sweet malt flavor. Bitterness is low to medium-low, providing a soft balance without any harshness. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth, leaving a lingering impression of fruit juice.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a soft, rounded texture. Moderate carbonation. Negligible alcohol warmth and a complete absence of hop-derived astringency or harshness.
