La Superbe

MAD DREAMS is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies the modern, hop-forward profile of the style. The quartet of Nelson, Citra, Galaxy, and NZ Rakau hops creates a complex, saturated bouquet of white wine grapes, passionfruit, and crushed lime, layered over succulent notes of apricot and stone fruit. At 6.5% ABV, it presents a luminous, opaque yellow body topped with a dense white head. The palate is defined by a soft, plush texture and low perceived bitterness, allowing the juicy fruit character to shine through a neutral, bready malt base. It concludes with a clean, off-dry finish that invites another sip.

Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM) with a luminous, opaque haze. Features a medium-sized, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit (passionfruit), citrus (lime), and stone fruit (apricot) with a distinct white grape note. Background malt is neutral, clean, and lightly bready; no caramel or toast present.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with heavy tropical and citrus notes. Malt flavor is low and supportive with a bready character. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low, well-masked by the body. Finishes off-dry and smooth without any hop harshness or astringency.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, plush, and smooth texture. Medium carbonation provides a gentle lift. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; no raw starch or acidic twang.
