La Superbe

This Hazy IPA pours with a characteristic luminous opacity, delivering an immediate wave of saturated tropical aromatics. The double dry-hopping process utilizes Vic Secret to provide sharp notes of pineapple and passionfruit, while Motueka contributes a bright, zesty lime edge. Cashmere rounds out the profile with softer layers of ripe peach and melon. The experience is defined by a lush, velvety texture that carries these intense hop flavors across the palate with minimal bitterness. A supportive, grainy malt base allows the complex interplay of New World hops to shine, finishing with a soft, succulent, and fruit-forward linger.

Appearance. Straw to light gold (4-6 SRM). Distinctly hazy with an opaque, glowing quality. Crowned by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant notes of ripe pineapple, passionfruit, and crushed lime zest. Subtler notes of sweet melon and stone fruit emerge as the beer opens. Malt is low and neutral, presenting as fresh bread dough or lightly grainy. Fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated.

Taste. Massive tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and peach, followed by a citrusy burst of lime. The malt flavor is low, providing a simple, bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low due to the soft, rounded mouthfeel. The finish is off-dry and juicy, lacking any hop harshness, grassiness, or astringency.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A very light, well-integrated alcoholic warmth is present, contributing to the overall smooth impression without any raw starch or acidic twang.
