Kumpeni è stata realizzata in collaborazione con birrai professionisti e non in occasione del Grutkulturfestival di Munster: hanno partecipato La Source, Nevel, De Kromme, Haring, Fermenthings, Luti, Donnekes, Elixer, Gruthaus, Vonseitz, David Bea.
Ogni birraio il giorno della cotta ha portato con se delle erbe, aggiunte durante l’ebollizione ed il raffreddamento del mosto.
In questo particolare Grut c’è anche la presenza di un frutto, le arance, amare e rosse, biologiche.
Dopo la cotta questa miscela di malto d’orzo, erbe, spezie e frutta, fermenta e matura in botti ex vino rosso per ben 15 mesi!
Una birra da provare di certo non adatta ai deboli di cuore, le erbe e le arance amare donano freschezza, un carattere balsamico e fruttato.
