This Imperial Stout presents a profound sensory landscape shaped by its double-barrel aging in Jamaica and Plantation rum casks. A complex grain bill featuring Red Rye Crystal, Chocolate malt, and Roasted Barley delivers deep layers of espresso, dark cacao, and toasted pumpernickel. The WLP002 yeast provides a subtle foundation of dark stone fruit esters, while a firm undercurrent of Centennial hops adds a floral, citrus-pith bitterness that counters the spirit-driven sweetness. Expect pervasive aromas of molasses, charred oak, and spiced rum, culminating in a viscous, warming finish that balances decadent roast with vinous complexity.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). A thick, creamy, deep tan head provides moderate retention, leaving significant oily legs and rich lacing on the glass as the 12% ABV reveals its viscosity.
