This elegant Fruit Lambic showcases a sophisticated integration of Pinot Meunier grapes with a delicate blend of Meerts and aged lambic. The second-use fruit imparts nuanced vinous notes of red currants, damp earth, and dried rose petals rather than overt sweetness. Tilquin's signature house character delivers a refined, lemony lactic acidity balanced by rustic Brettanomyces funk—think weathered wood and hay. The Pinot Meunier adds a subtle tannic structure that complements the effervescent, bone-dry finish. Appearance. Copper to deep gold with a distinct pinkish-orange hue (approx. 6-8 SRM); brilliant clarity with a light haze; thick, rocky, mousse-like off-white head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant fermented grape character featuring red berries and floral rose notes; complex secondary aromatics of horse blanket, hay, and goat cheese funk; low cracker-like wheat malt; no hop aroma; moderate lemony lactic acidity and aged oak.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply tart and vinous; flavors of tart red currant and grape skins blend with a rustic, earthy Brettanomyces character; very low bitterness; malt is supportive and wheaty; fermentation provides a clean, puckering lactic sourness; bone-dry finish with a lingering, slightly tannic grape-skin aftertaste.
