A soft, pillowy malt backbone provides a neutral, grainy base that allows the hop oils to shine without interference from caramel or toast. The finish is remarkably smooth and off-dry, delivering a juicy, fruit-forward experience that defines the modern New England-style character.
Appearance. Color is pale straw to a light, glowing orange with a heavy, opaque haze. It features a medium-sized, rocky, white head with excellent retention and meringue-like lacing.
Aroma. Intensity is high, dominated by Citra hop character featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, and lychee. A light, neutral, grainy-bready malt sweetness sits in the background.
