Inspired by the Polish jagodzianka, this Wild Specialty Beer offers a decadent sensory journey through a summer bakery. The profile is dominated by a massive presence of Polish blueberries, providing both a deep tartness and a rich, jammy sweetness. Complex layers of creamy vanilla and a distinct buttery, bready crumble aroma evoke the pastry inspiration, while the underlying wild fermentation introduces a soft lactic acidity and a whisper of rustic funk. The result is a vibrant, multi-dimensional experience that balances the intense fruit profile with a dessert-like complexity, finishing with a lingering berry-and-cream sweetness.

Appearance. A striking, opaque deep indigo to royal purple hue, reflecting the heavy addition of Polish blueberries. It supports a dense, creamy, light-purple head with moderate retention and thick, stained lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh blueberry preserves and vanilla bean. A distinct biscuit-like, buttery crumble character blends with moderate lactic tartness and a faint, earthy wild yeast funk. No hop aroma is present.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tart, juicy blueberry fruit, quickly followed by a rich vanilla sweetness and bready malt notes reminiscent of pastry crust. The wild fermentation provides a clean, moderate acidity that prevents the 18blg sweetness from becoming cloying. Bitterness is very low, allowing the fruit and dessert-like flavors to dominate a long, fruity, and slightly creamy finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a lush, velvety texture and moderate carbonation. A soft, creamy weight fills the palate, accompanied by a mild, refreshing acidic prickle and no perceptible alcohol warmth.
