This monumental Imperial Stout presents an incredibly dense sensory experience, born from a long boil and extended aging in Woodford Double Oaked bourbon barrels. The aroma is an intense fusion of dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee, underpinned by deep notes of vanilla, charred oak, and a hint of molasses. On the palate, it delivers a viscous, velvety texture with layers of bittersweet cocoa nibs and espresso. The barrel influence contributes rich caramel and toasted wood character, balancing the massive malt presence. Despite its staggering strength, the finish is harmoniously warming, lingering with echoes of dark fruit and bourbon-soaked oak.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. It pours with a minimal, deep tan head that dissipates quickly, leaving thick, oily legs on the glass indicative of high viscosity.

Aroma. High intensity; dominated by bittersweet cocoa and espresso-like coffee notes. Significant barrel character introduces vanilla, toasted oak, and bourbon. Moderate esters of raisins and prunes are present, alongside a noticeable, rich alcohol sweetness.
