The experience is defined by its crisp, bone-dry execution and a firm, clean bitterness that highlights the beer’s brilliant clarity. It offers a refreshing, minerally snap on the finish, expertly balancing its rich malt heritage with a vibrant, hop-forward character that lingers pleasantly on the palate.
Appearance. Pale straw to bright gold (SRM 2–3). Brilliant, sparkling clarity with a dense, creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring prominent flowery, spicy, and herbal hop notes from the Mittelfrüh, Select, and Tradition varieties. Supports a low to medium grainy-sweet malt backbone with hints of toasted cracker and light honey. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast esters or phenols.
Taste. Initial grainy-sweet malt flavors of cracker and dough are quickly overcome by a firm, medium-high hop bitterness. Flavors of spicy herbs and dried flowers mirror the aroma. The balance is decidedly bitter and hop-forward, leading into a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering floral bitterness and a clean mineral snap.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation that provides a lively, scrubbing sensation on the tongue. Smooth and crisp without any harshness or astringency. No perceived alcohol warmth.
