Dopo aver studiato da autodidatta e realizzato da homebrewer le sue prime birre, l’incontro con Steve Dawson del Birrificio White Dog e i numerosi tirocini presso di lui, trasformano nel 2010 l’idea di aprire un birrificio in un progetto vero e proprio.... Andrea si lascia alle spalle il “lavoro vero” di project manager e si dedica al SUO nuovo progetto:"Aprire un Birrificio Artigianale".
La passione e il gusto per le "Real Ales" lo portano a produrre birre principalmente di tradizione inglese e americana.
Il birrificio ha avuto una veloce crescita negli ultimi due anni grazie alla qualità’ e all’originalità delle sue birre e alla collaborazione di Adriano Protopapa e Michele Penta.
Attualmente è distribuito in tutta Italia e in Europa.
Dal 1 gennaio 2014 anche Massimo Serra, che ha deciso di lasciare il Birrificio Turan, da lui fondato, è entrato nella squadra Free Lions
Dal 1 gennaio 2016 il birrificio si arricchisce anche della figura di Cecilia Eydallin che si occupa di social media, eventi e gestione clienti.
