This historic Greek American Lager presents a refined and approachable sensory profile characterized by its distinctive fermentation character. Pouring a brilliant pale straw, it leads with a delicate aroma where soft, grainy malt meets unexpected but pleasant yeast-derived notes of fresh apple and banana. The palate is exceptionally smooth and soft, showcasing a balanced bitterness that supports a neutral malt base. Appearance. Very pale straw to medium yellow (2-3 SRM); brilliant clarity; frothy white head with moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity; clean and grainy malt sweetness; light floral hop notes; unique moderate fruity esters of red apple and ripe banana derived from fermentation; no diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and neutral; light grainy malt flavor with a hint of sweetness; low floral and herbal hop flavor; low to medium-low bitterness; subtle fruitiness persists into a clean, dry, and rounded finish with a lingering soft aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation with a refreshing carbonic bite; smooth texture; no alcohol warmth; very low astringency.
