This Imperial Stout presents an indulgent, high-impact sensory experience driven by its staggering 12% ABV and viscous texture. The addition of premium Colombian Cacao delivers an intense, bittersweet dark chocolate foundation that melds seamlessly with the deep roast of the malt bill. Aromatics are heightened by the aromatic lift of Madagascan Vanilla, providing a creamy, marshmallow-like sweetness that softens the charred edges of the grain. A delicate, warming touch of Cinnamon adds a subtle spicy complexity to the finish, enhancing the natural alcohol warmth. It is a decadent, full-bodied masterpiece that balances intense roasted bitterness with luxurious, dessert-like layers.

Appearance. Jet black (SRM 40+). Opaque. Thick, dark tan to mocha-colored head with moderate retention and oily lacing. Visible viscosity in the form of slow-moving legs.

Aroma. High intensity. Rich waves of dark chocolate and cocoa from Colombian Cacao dominate, supported by heavy floral sweetness from Madagascan Vanilla. Subtle hints of woody Cinnamon and dark fruit esters like raisins. Deep roasted grain providing coffee and slightly burnt notes.

Taste. Intense initial impression of bittersweet chocolate and espresso. The Colombian Cacao lends a deep, fudge-like character while Madagascan Vanilla adds a creamy, sweet middle. Moderate roasted bitterness is present but softened by residual sugars. A touch of Cinnamon appears in the finish, alongside lingering notes of charred grain and dark fruit. High complexity with a warming, bittersweet aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a chewy, velvety, and luscious texture. Low to moderate carbonation. Noticeable and smooth alcohol warmth. High creaminess with no perceived astringency.
