This American Pale Ale draws heavy inspiration from hazy traditions, utilizing a protein-rich grist of malted barley, malted wheat, and a trio of oats—flaked, malted, and golden—to create a velvety foundation. Massive additions of Citra and Galaxy hops deliver an intense sensory payload of passion fruit, peach, and bright lime zest. The water chemistry is purposefully mineralized to sharpen the hop impact while maintaining a high level of drinkability. It balances modern tropical intensity with a refreshing character, finishing with a clean, lingering citrus brightness and a smooth, pillowy texture that defines its modern profile.
Appearance. Pale golden to light amber with a prominent, hazy opacity. Features a moderately large, white, creamy head with excellent retention and significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Galaxy-derived passion fruit and peach, complemented by the citrus and lime notes of Citra. Low grainy malt sweetness and very light fruity esters support the hop-forward profile.
Taste. Strong hop flavors of grapefruit, mango, and tropical stone fruit. The bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, balanced by a soft, bready malt character from the oats and wheat. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering citrus aftertaste that lacks any harshness.
