Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. Pours with a dense, deep tan head that shows moderate retention. High viscosity is evident as thick legs cling to the sides of the glass when swirled.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious, and almost oily texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A noticeable, gentle alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the 12.6% strength without being harsh or solventy.
