Imperial IPA 8 º
This Double IPA represents the pinnacle of the house juice philosophy, delivering a high-intensity sensory experience. A thick, creamy base supported by oats serves as the canvas for a massive hop profile featuring Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, and Motueka. The addition of Krush and advanced hop extracts creates layers of overripe mango, bright passion fruit, and lime zest. A proprietary, fruit-forward yeast blend amplifies these tropical notes, resulting in a saturated, velvet-textured ale. It remains remarkably drinkable at 8% ABV, balancing its immense hop oils with a soft, rounded finish that minimizes harshness while maximizing aromatics.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM); opaque and hazy with a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of Alphonso mango, candied pineapple, and zesty lime. Distinctive notes of Mosaic-derived blueberry and Citra-driven grapefruit are supported by a clean, doughy malt background and a light, fruity ester profile from the house yeast.
Taste. Initial burst of tropical fruit juice including passion fruit and melon from El Dorado and Krush hops. Malt flavor is low, providing a soft, bready support from the oats. Bitterness is moderate but smooth, never aggressive. The finish is clean with a lingering saturated citrus oil character and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a distinctively creamy, pillowy texture from the heavy oat addition. Carbonation is moderate; alcohol warmth is subtle and well-integrated without solvent notes.
