Na DeuS brut des Flandres a aparência é delicada de um dourado pálido, com pequenas bolhas refinadas e uma espuma semelhante a merengue. O corpo é leve a médio, delicado e complexo. Na boca começa suave, desenvolvendo o paladar frutado, de doce de maçã, com um final seco e especiado, subtil, num equilíbrio elegante. O aroma apresenta sugestões de pão especiado, pera e notas herbáceas e florais. O sabor traz notas de mel, flores, tomilho, gengibre e biscoito especiado.
É uma excelente cerveja para guardar até 2 anos em garrafa, se bem acondicionada. ABV: 11,5%
A arte de servir DeuS Brut des Flandres
A temperatura de serviço desta cerveja deverá estar entre os 0ºC e 4ºC e deve usar a sua flute própria ou um copo clássico similar. Para servir DeuS, o copo deve ser segurado pela haste e inclinado a 45º para gerar uma espuma branca e compacta. O elevado grau alcoólico, 11,5% de ABV fará com que a espuma se dissipe, mas a boca da flute irá reter os aromas complexos e acentuar os sabores únicos desta brut beer tão especial. Each glass of Deus is therefore the result of a preparation process lasting several months in which the best elements of 2 production methods are mixed.
The master brewer brews the beer and realizes the fermentation in Belgium. Then the traditional "remuage" and "disgorgement" takes place in France. Now a high-quality and very original product is created! This Deus, Brut des Flandres has a golden color in a glass with a sparkling character with fine bubbles. It has a very airy and volatile head.
In the nose, the Déus has floral and herbal aromas with citrus and yeast notes. A hint of caramel recalls the presence of barley malt. On the palate, the fine bubbles burst with the spicy taste of the yeast, accompanied by fruit and malt notes. Serve very cold (2°C - 4°C) and pour gently into the glass, whistle or chalice.

Fris als een aperitief en tegelijk vol van smaak en aroma’s als een echt hemels bier, dat is DeuS. Een prachtige symbiose van brouwen van bier en creëren van een sprankelende wijn. Ideaal voor het verrassen van uw gasten als een aparte keuze bij aperitiefhapjes of om uw voorgerecht te sublimeren. DeuS, als een sprankelende godendrank op basis van gerst. Een wonderbaarlijke reis… Elk sprankelend glas DeuS is het resultaat van een maandenlang bereidingsproces, waarbij het beste van 2 productiemethodes wordt gecombineerd. In België brouwt en vergist de meesterbrouwer het bier waarna de DeuS in spe verder reist naar Frankrijk en het prachtig gerstenat volgens een eeuwenoude techniek wordt omgetoverd tot de uiteindelijke mousserende godendrank.
Het traject van het beer van BE naar Frankrijk en terug naar BE.
1. BROUWEN; Op basis van zomergerst, volgens een unieke formule.
2. GISTING EN MATURATIE OP TANK; 1e gisting met speciaal geselecteerde gist gevolgd door de maturatie op tank.
3. HERGISTING IN FLES EN LANGE MATURATIE; De hergisting in fles wordt gevolgd door de lange maturatie: een maandenlange rijping in fles op gist.
4. KLARING(“REMUAGE“); Het doel is de gist van de flessenwand los te weken en te verzamelen in de hals van de fles. Flessen worden met de hals schuin naar beneden geplaatst. Wekenlang worden de flessen lichtjes gedraaid en tegelijkertijd iets schuiner geplaatst tot de hals uiteindelijk verticaal staat.
5. ONTGISTING (“DÉGORGEMENT“); De gist wordt verwijderd uit de fles door het bevriezen van de flessenhals. De bevroren gistprop wordt door druk in de fles met kracht uitgedreven.
Hoe zit het bier eruit: De elegante curves van de fles zijn al een voorproefje van de charmante finesse van DeuS. In het fluitglas ontdek je een lichtblond tot bleekgouden, helder sprankelende saturatie met uiterst minuscule belletjes. DeuS wordt bekroond met fijn spierwit meringue-achtig schuim.
Wat is de geur van het bier: Een fascinerende complexiteit. Er ontplooien zich aroma’s van verse appels versterkt door munt, tijm, citroenschil, gember, mout, peer, hop, allspice en kruidnagel.
Hoe smaakt het bier: DeuS is delicaat en complex. Het glijdt zijdezacht over de tong en bloeit dan open tot een romig, tintelende sprankel. DeuS is licht en luchtig en verleidt met een druifachtige zoetheid en een dessertappelachtige fruitigheid. De afwerking is mooi droog met een haast tanineachtige toets.

Brewery BosteelsIn the hands of the Bosteels family for over 200 years, the brewery relies today on the craftmanship of seven generations. In 1791, Jean-Baptist Bosteels established the brewery, and has been followed by generations who took over the brewery and never stop brewing, even during the world wars. At that time, the brewery played such an important role in the town, the family Bosteels were such influential people that we are not surprised that 3 of the 7 generations have been Town Mayors. In the year 1930’s Antoine Bosteels, 5th generation, carried on the brewing dynasty and played an important role expanding the sales of the Bosteels Pils into other regions such as Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. His son Ivo Bosteels honored the iconic beer of Pauwel Kwak by bringing it back to the market in 1980; this is the beginning of the strong beers for Brewery Bosteels. In the year 1990, Ivo’s son, Antoine Bosteels, the 7th generation, understood the potential of strong speciality beers and especially the trend for blond ones. Driven by passion of the art of brewing and guided by his creativity, Antoine is at the roots of the succes of Tripel Karmeliet and DeuS Brut des Flandres.
