This Double IPA erupts with a vivid confectionery character reminiscent of a bag of Skittles, driven by a heavy dry-hop regimen of Mosaic, Elani, and HBC-638. An initial wave of tropical pineapple and mango merges with delicate white peach and fresh strawberry. As the fruit medley subsides, the Mosaic hops introduce a signature layer of resinous dankness, grounding the vibrant, candy-like sweetness. Built on a lean, supportive malt base, it balances its 8.5% ABV with a clean finish and firm bitterness. The result is a high-intensity sensory experience where modern fruit-forward hop expressions meet a classic, potent backbone.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (7–10 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Intense and complex hop bouquet featuring prominent notes of pineapple, mango, and white peach. Subtler hints of strawberry and sweet citrus candy mingle with a distinct resinous, dank undercurrent. Malt is neutral and grainy in the background, allowing the hops to dominate.
Taste. Explodes with tropical and stone fruit flavors, mirroring the aroma with mango and peach at the forefront. A moderate strawberry-like berry character follows. The hops contribute a savory, dank character mid-palate. Bitterness is firm and moderately high but smooth, leading to a medium-dry finish with lingering tropical hop oils and minimal residual sweetness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable but lacks any harsh solvent qualities or astringency.
