This Gluten Free IPA showcases the vibrant, southern hemisphere character of Motueka and Wakatu hops. The experience begins with an inviting, saturated bouquet of sweet tropical fruit, lime zest, and subtle stone fruit. Despite its 7% ABV, the palate remains remarkably smooth, offering a juicy, soft mouthfeel that masks the alcohol's warmth effectively. Motueka provides a distinctive lime-mojito brightness, while Wakatu adds depth with notes of fresh floral citrus and tropical sweetness. The alternative grain base supports the hop intensity without interference, resulting in a clean, refreshing, and highly aromatic experience that defines modern New Zealand-inspired brewing.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold to deep yellow (4-6 SRM). Topped by a persistent, creamy white head with moderate retention and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, accented by lime zest and floral citrus. Low grainy-sweet malt character from alternative grains, with a clean fermentation profile showing moderate fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression is of sweet tropical fruit and bright citrus. Prominent hop flavors of lime, lemon peel, and stone fruit follow. Bitterness is moderate but firm, providing balance without being harsh. The finish is clean and slightly dry, with a lingering note of citrus pith and sweet fruitiness. Malt flavor is low and neutral, providing a grainy backbone.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate. Alcohol warmth is well-integrated and subtle for its strength. Notably smooth and juicy with no perceived astringency.
