Despite its 7% ABV, the palate remains remarkably smooth, offering a juicy, soft mouthfeel that masks the alcohol's warmth effectively. Motueka provides a distinctive lime-mojito brightness, while Wakatu adds depth with notes of fresh floral citrus and tropical sweetness. Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold to deep yellow (4-6 SRM). Topped by a persistent, creamy white head with moderate retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, accented by lime zest and floral citrus. Low grainy-sweet malt character from alternative grains, with a clean fermentation profile showing moderate fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is of sweet tropical fruit and bright citrus. Prominent hop flavors of lime, lemon peel, and stone fruit follow.
