This contemporary interpretation of a German Pils showcases a sophisticated fusion of traditional structure and modern aromatics. The deliberate addition of Citra hops introduces a fragrant, zesty layer of citrus and lime that brightens the profile without eclipsing the classic lager foundations. A foundational malt character of cracker and doughy sweetness provides a 'crispy' base, reminiscent of artisanal dough. The bitterness is firm and purposeful, guiding the palate toward an exceptionally clean, bone-dry finish. Refreshing and bright, it maintains a masterful balance between the vibrant fruit-forward character of the hops and the precise, minerally snap of a well-attenuated lager.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Forward notes of grapefruit zest and lime from the Citra hops are layered over traditional spicy and herbal aromas. A low grainy-sweet and doughy malt presence provides a clean, cracker-like backdrop. Clean fermentation profile without sulfur or esters.

Taste. Initial doughy malt sweetness is rapidly overtaken by a assertive hop flavor and bitterness. Notes of lemon peel and subtle tropical fruit transition into a firm, spicy hop bite (approx. 35 IBU). The balance is decidedly bitter and crisp, finishing very dry and clean with a lingering minerally sharpness and floral hop aftertaste.
