Corsendonk Blanche is a classic and refreshing Witbier, characterized by its signature milky, pale straw appearance and a compact, creamy white head that shows excellent persistence. The aromatic profile is led by soft yeast-derived esters and a bright, perfumy bouquet of coriander and zesty orange. On the palate, it offers a remarkably soft and smooth texture driven by unmalted wheat, complemented by crisp notes of lemon and a gentle herbal spice. Aroma. Moderate intensity with a bready, grainy wheat malt base. Pronounced zesty orange citrus and perfumy-lemony coriander aromatics. Low spicy yeast esters with a clean fermentation profile and no hop aroma.
Taste. Initial bready wheat malt flavor followed by moderate zesty orange fruitiness. Gentle herbal-spicy flavors, including lemony coriander, are well-integrated and subtle.
