Aromaen er blændende – nærmest frugtagtig med et blomsteragtig skær. Farven er flot mørk, og skummet er kraftigt og vedblivende. Smagen er i første omgang kraftig med et behageligt strejf af ristet malt. Eftersmagen er overraskende let og særdeles behagelig. Chimay Grand Reservé er mærket som vine, hvor du kan finde produktionsåret på etiketten. Som gode vine bliver den faktisk bedre med tiden – og du kan roligt lade den lagre 2-4 år, hvor den vil bedre og bedre. Den kan med fordel drikkes til de retter, hvor man ofte tænker på en lidt tungere rødvin – men den kan absolut også nydes, hvis man gerne vil have et glas øl af høj kvalitet.

Bia Chimay xanh là một loại bia lên men cao và tiếp tục lên men lại trong chai.
Bia được ủ trong phòng tối, với hương vị thơm ngon đậm đà, được mọi người ưu ái gọi với cái tên Chimay Blue là loại bia được cha sứ Theodore làm ra từ năm 1948.
Bia mang mùi vị đặc trưng riêng biệt với vị tươi mát, pha chút hương hoa hồng thoang thoảng quyến rũ, kết hợp cùng vị mạch nha cháy thơm ngậy. Đem đến cho bạn một khẩu bị chưa bao giờ cảm nhận được ở bất cứ đâu.

Chimay è un birrificio trappista con sede nell’omonima località della Vallonia, dove sorge l’Abbazia di Notre-Dame de Scourmont, edificata nel 1850 da alcuni monaci dell’Abbazia di Westvleteren, guidati dall’abate Jordain.
Le birre di Chimay sono stata tre la prime ad avere ricevuto il marchio ATP come Authentic Trappist Product e il birrificio è diventato uno dei due produttori trappisti più grandi del Belgio e nel mondo. Il monastero si impegna nella produzione di formaggi e di birre che garantiscono la sussistenza dei monaci, che interrompono la produzione in concomitanza con le due guerre del novecento.
Il secondo dopo guerra coincide con l’introduzione di nuove tecniche, l’ampliamento dell’impianto e l’isolamento del famoso lievito di Chimay, che caratterizza le cinque leggendarie birre prodotte dal birrificio trappista. Chimay rimane tuttora il marchio trappista più famoso e diffuso nel mondo.

Chimay Bleu er for mange den mest velkendte trappist øl. I virkeligheden hedder den Chimay Grand Reservé, men har altså fået kælenavnet ”Blue” med reference til etiketten. Aromaen er blændende – nærmest frugtagtig med et blomsteragtig skær. Farven er flot mørk, og skummet er kraftigt og vedblivende. Smagen er i første omgang kraftig med et behageligt strejf af ristet malt. Eftersmagen er overraskende let og særdeles behagelig. Chimay Grand Reservé er mærket som vine, hvor du kan finde produktionsåret på etiketten. Som gode vine bliver den faktisk bedre med tiden – og du kan roligt lade den lagre 2-4 år, hvor den vil bedre og bedre. Den kan med fordel drikkes til de retter, hvor man ofte tænker på en lidt tungere rødvin – men den kan absolut også nydes, hvis man gerne vil have et glas øl af høj kvalitet.

A Trappist ale can only be called Trappist ale when it has been brewed between the four walls of a Trappist monastery, under the supervision of the monastery’s monks, and when part of the proceeds is earmarked for charity. Pure and honest. And that’s reflected in the taste.
A “Trappist” has to satisfy a number of strict criteria proper to this logo before it may bear this name:
The beer must be brewed within the walls of a Trappist monastery, either by the monks themselves or under their supervision.
The brewery must be of secondary importance within the monastery and it should witness to the business practices proper to a monastic way of life
The brewery is not intended to be a profit-making venture. The income covers the living expenses of the monks and the maintenance of the buildings and grounds. Whatever remains is donated to charity for social work and to help persons in need.
Pure and honest. And that’s reflected in the taste.
