Cape May’s Always Ready is a vibrant Northeast Pale Ale that balances hop intensity with sessionable drinkability. Highlighting a lush profile of tropical fruits, the aroma is dominated by vivid notes of pineapple, mango, and bright citrus zest. The addition of wheat and oats provides a supportive, soft malt backbone and a distinctively smooth, medium body that anchors the hop-bomb character. While inspired by modern juicy trends, it maintains the approachable balance of a classic American Pale Ale. Each sip delivers a clean, refreshing finish, making this pale ale a bright and aromatically complex tribute to the coastal spirit.
Appearance. Deep gold (6 SRM) with a slight haze from the inclusion of wheat and oats. Topped by a moderately large, frothy white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring pungent tropical notes of ripe pineapple and mango. Substantial citrus zest aromatics are supported by a low, grainy, and slightly bready malt character from the wheat. Clean fermentation profile with very low esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a juicy burst of tropical fruit and citrus. Flavors of mango and pineapple are prominent, supported by a soft, bready malt presence. Hop bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, providing structure without being harsh. The finish is clean and medium-dry with a lingering note of citrus peel.
