This Belgian Golden Strong Ale presents a deep amber hue, diverging from the style’s typical paleness due to the heavy use of caramel malts. At a potent 12% ABV, it delivers a complex sensory experience defined by the brewery’s 80-year-old house yeast, which produces intense pome fruit esters like pear alongside a peppery, warming alcohol presence. Appearance. Deep amber to fiery copper (approximately 12-15 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, long-lasting, off-white rocky head that leaves thick lacing on the glass.
