This modern take on a German Pils highlights the purity of ingredients sourced through regenerative agriculture. Brussels Beer Project TERRA PILS presents a vibrant, fresh profile defined by a rustic, grainy malt backbone reminiscent of toasted crackers and light honey. Traditional noble hops provide a moderate intensity of herbal and spicy aromas, perfectly counterbalanced by a firm, clean bitterness. Being unfiltered, it retains a soft yeast character that enhances the mouthfeel while maintaining the style’s hallmark dry, crisp finish. It is an approachable yet characterful lager that bridges the gap between classic tradition and sustainable modern brewing.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3 SRM); creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing; slight haze due to being unfiltered.

Aroma. Moderate intensity of herbal and spicy hops; low grainy-sweet and doughy malt character with a hint of toasted cracker; clean lager fermentation profile with a very faint, fresh yeast presence.

Taste. Initial grainy malt sweetness is quickly overcome by a firm hop bitterness; flavors of herbal tea and spicy pepper dominate the mid-palate; medium-high bitterness provides a clean, crisp balance; finish is dry and refreshing with a lingering minerality and floral hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing texture; medium-high carbonation; no alcohol warmth; smooth, non-astringent finish with a slight flinty sharpness.

Outre le goût exceptionnel et la grande buvabilité de la "pintje". Terra Pils est également le 1e Belgian Pilsner brassée avec 100% de malt Pilsner régénératif. Cela signifie que nous nous approvisionnons en malt pour cette bière dans un rayon de 50 km autour de Bruxelles auprès d'une coopérative locale d'agriculteurs appelée Cultivae.Ces agriculteurs n'utilisent que des pratiques régénératives dans leur agriculture, ce qui signifie qu'ils gardent leur sol couvert afin d'absorber l'humidité, de protéger et de refroidir le sol, de maintenir des racines vivantes tout au long de l'année, de minimiser la perturbation du sol, de maximiser la diversité de leurs cultures, d'intégrer le bétail, etc. En principe, il s'agit d'un système qui cherche à reproduire la nature au lieu d'essayer constamment de la dominer. Inverser le cycle de dégradation des sols, augmenter les niveaux de carbone dans les sols en absorbant le CO2 de l'atmosphère et en le réintégrant dans le sol.
