The latest in Rodenbach’s Evolved series takes inspiration from the beloved “Gueuze Saint Georges” Rodenbach beer, which was brewed until the late 1970s. The artisanal process involved blending traditional ingredients of wheat beer, saison and lambic, resulting in a refreshing and fruity sour pale ale. Rodenbach fermented this beer with their own special Rodenbach yeast culture, resulting in a distinctive flavour profile.
After fermentation, it was left to mature for two years in a carefully selected wooden barrel, known as foeder “93”.
The result? A light, fruity beer with a subtle sourness that is perfect to quench your thirst. As you enjoy it, you will discover delicious notes of apple and peach in the fragrance, accompanied by unique hints of Brett and a touch of leather, adding an extra layer of complexity and charm.
