Aged in Michel Couvreur whisky barrels, this 5.5% ale presents a sophisticated sensory profile where characteristic Belgian esters of pear and lemon zest dance alongside cracked black pepper phenols. The barrel influence introduces delicate layers of toasted oak, vanilla, and a faint, elegant whisper of malt whisky without overwhelming the base beer’s delicate structure. High carbonation lifts the grainy malt palate, leading into a bone-dry, effervescent finish. The result is a complex, highly attenuated ale that balances earthy yeast character with the prestigious, spirituous depth of fine French-matured whisky.

Appearance. SRM 5-7; pale gold to light amber with a slight, characteristic haze from being unfiltered. Features a dense, long-lasting rocky white head that leaves persistent Belgian lacing. Highly effervescent with visible rising carbonation.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. A complex blend of fruity esters suggesting lemon peel and green apple, paired with spicy, peppery phenols.
