The profile leads with a bright, tropical fruitiness where the sweet, floral perfume of lychee intertwines with the sharp, acidic citrus of calamondin. This fruit-forward character is supported by the signature peppery phenols and earthy undertones of a traditional fermentation. The barrel aging adds a subtle layer of oaky complexity and a crisp, bone-dry finish. Effervescent and refreshing, it balances tart fruit highlights with a nuanced, grainy malt backbone for a remarkably elegant and complex expression.
Appearance. Pale, hazy orange-gold with a dense, long-lasting ivory head that leaves delicate Belgian lace. Effervescent with a persistent bead of fine bubbles.
Aroma. High intensity. Immediate notes of tropical lychee and zesty, acidic calamondin orange are layered over peppery yeast esters and a light, floral hop character. Subtle hints of toasted oak and a faint, rustic graininess emerge as the beer breathes.
