The mid-palate is dominated by a luxurious dark chocolate truffle character, which eventually gives way to a vibrant finish of tart black and red raspberries. Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). It pours with a thick, creamy, deep tan to dark brown head that exhibits moderate retention. High viscosity is evident, leaving thick, slow-moving legs on the glass.
