Appearance. Deep gold color (approx. 5-6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a massive, long-lasting, rocky white head that leaves characteristic Belgian lacing on the glass as it slowly recedes.

Aroma. High intensity featuring complex fruity esters of pear and apple. Moderate herbal and floral hop character is supported by low, peppery phenols and a soft, perfumy alcohol presence. Malt is nearly neutral with a light, grainy-sweet quality.

Taste. Initial soft malty sweetness quickly transitions to dominant pear-like fruitiness and spicy, peppery alcohol. Moderate herbal hop flavor is present.
