Initial impression of intense bittersweet chocolate and roasted coffee; mid-palate reveals rich pecan fudge and maple-driven caramelization; vanilla provides a creamy, dessert-like softening of the roast; moderate-high bitterness is balanced by significant residual sugar; finish is long and warming with lingering cocoa and pipe tobacco.
