This modern American Pale Ale delivers a vibrant, juicy sensory experience driven by a collaboration-focused hop profile. The use of Talus and HBC 586 hops creates a bold, fresh aroma defined by tropical notes of guava and lychee, subtly underpinned by a unique hint of American white oak. Brewed with oats and wheat, the beer possesses a silky, pillowy texture that softens the moderate bitterness. The sensory profile is clean yet complex, balancing the punchy tropical hop character with a light, grainy malt backbone, making for an exceptionally drinkable and aromatic pint that reflects the evolution of the style.
Appearance. Pale straw to gold (4-6 SRM). Noticeable haze from the use of oats and wheat. Pours with a thick, persistent white head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Pronounced tropical fruit notes of guava and lychee dominate, accompanied by a distinct woody, coconut-like, and herbal nuance from the Talus hops. Low grainy-sweet malt presence. Clean fermentation with very low neutral esters.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of tropical fruit and citrus. The hop flavor is vibrant and fresh. Low neutral malt sweetness provides a canvas for the HBC 586 and Talus hop character, including a hint of cedar or oak. Bitterness is moderate, well-integrated and never harsh. Finishes dry and clean with a lingering fruity and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notable silky and creamy texture derived from the oat and wheat additions. Moderate carbonation. No alcohol warmth. Very smooth with zero astringency.
