This Hazy IPA offers a lush, saturated sensory experience driven by a collaboration with Freestyle Hops. A vibrant bouquet of wildflower aromas leads into a complex palate where Peacharine and Nelson Sauvin hops deliver succulent notes of ripe peach, nectarine, and white grape. Motueka adds a zesty, lime-forward brightness, evoking the effervescent character of a Prosecco Gimlet. The mouthfeel is characteristically soft and pillowy, supporting the intense stone fruit and tropical fruit esters without aggressive bitterness. It is a modern, aromatic expression that balances botanical depth with a clean, juicy finish and a luminous, hazy appearance.
Appearance. 4 SRM. Opaque, gold-hued haze with a healthy luminous glow. Large, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick, decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh peach and nectarine from Peacharine hops, mingled with the crushed grape and wildflower notes of Nelson Sauvin. Motueka provides a distinct lime zest and botanical lift. Background malt is subtly bready and neutral, allowing the hops to dominate alongside supportive fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is bursting with stone fruit flavors of nectarine and peach, followed by a crisp lime and white wine acidity reminiscent of a Prosecco cocktail. The malt provides a soft, grainy-sweet base. Bitterness is restrained and smooth, providing just enough balance to ensure a clean, juicy finish with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle lift to the fruit flavors. Light alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated; no astringency or harshness.
