This Double IPA is a saturated celebration of Citra, Mosaic, and Idaho-7 hops, delivering an intense and layered sensory experience. Aromas of mango lassi and pineapple turnover lead the way, supported by a distinct strawberry bubble-gum note. The palate is flooded with tropical fruit and resinous citrus, underpinned by a lean, neutral malt presence that allows the hop intensity to remain the singular focus. Despite its 8% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a firm but smooth bitterness and a clean, dry finish that emphasizes modern hop character over residual sweetness, perfectly capturing the flagship's scaled-up essence.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange with a persistent, creamy white head that leaves significant lacing. The beer possesses a luminous, soft haze consistent with modern dry-hopping techniques.
Aroma. Intense hop-forward profile featuring punchy tropical notes of mango and ripe pineapple. Distinct berry-like esters and strawberry bubble-gum aromas are prominent, backed by subtle citrus zest and a neutral, slightly bready malt backbone.
Taste. The initial impression is a wave of tropical fruit, specifically mango and sweet pineapple, followed by resinous pine and citrus peel.
