Basqueland Touché is a vibrant Hazy IPA that highlights the singular expression of Cashmere hops. An Extra Pale malt base, bolstered by a significant addition of oat flakes, malted oats, and wheat, creates a luminous, straw-colored pour with a signature silky texture. The sensory profile is dominated by a bright bouquet of fresh lime zest, Meyer lemon, and ripe honeydew melon. On the palate, the fruit intensity remains high while the bitterness is expertly restrained, offering an incredibly drinkable experience that finishes soft and clean. It is a precise, hop-forward showcase of modern brewing that balances lush fruitiness with a pillowy mouthfeel.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale straw to light gold (4 SRM) with a luminous, opaque sheen. Topped by a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention and persistent lacing. No visible particulates or yeast clumps.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring distinct notes of lime zest, sweet lemon, and juicy melon. A clean, lightly bready and grainy malt presence from the extra pale malt and oats provides a soft background. Fermentation is clean with a subtle fruity ester profile that complements the Cashmere hop character.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with dominant lemon, lime, and melon qualities. The malt provides a soft, bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low-to-medium due to the soft, rounded body. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering citrus aftertaste that remains clean and never harsh.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, silky, and creamy texture derived from the oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or raw starch character; a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
