Basqueland’s Obsession is a captivating Double IPA that showcases the modern Vista hop variety through a double dry-hop process. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense, fragrance-like bouquet of ripe pineapple, sweet cantaloupe, and succulent papaya. These tropical layers are elevated by a delicate floral note reminiscent of fresh flower nectar. While the aroma is seductively sweet and fruity, the palate delivers a clean, neutral malt profile that allows the hop complexity to shine. Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head. Excellent clarity, though a very slight haze is present due to the intensive dry-hop additions.
