Appearance. Straw to deep gold (3-6 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine, free of visible particulates. Features a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by tropical stone fruit and citrus. Prominent notes of ripe mango and mandarin peel lead, supported by a unique vinous character reminiscent of white wine grapes. Background malt is clean and lightly bready, with neutral fermentation esters that allow the hops to shine.
Taste. An immediate blast of juicy tropical fruit and sweet citrus flavors. Ripe mango and mandarin orange dominate the mid-palate, followed by a subtle, sophisticated grape note. The malt profile is supportive and grainy, providing a soft backbone without caramel sweetness. Bitterness is low-to-moderate and well-integrated, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish with lingering fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable silky, smooth texture derived from the addition of oats. Carbonation is moderate. No harshness or astringency is present, with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
