Whipper Snapper is a vibrant Hazy IPA that celebrates the expressive potential of New Zealand and modern American hop varieties. Built on a clean foundation of lager malts and flaked oats, it offers a silky, smooth texture that carries an intense aromatic profile. The specific dry-hop combination of Kohatu, Mosaic, and Krush Cryo delivers a complex bouquet featuring ripe mango, zesty mandarin peel, and a distinct touch of Cabernet Sauvignon grape. It strikes a balance between tropical depth and citrus brightness, finishing with a soft, approachable bitterness. This is a refreshingly direct and juicy ale that prioritizes drinkability alongside its bold hop character.

Appearance. Straw to deep gold (3-6 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine, free of visible particulates. Features a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by tropical stone fruit and citrus. Prominent notes of ripe mango and mandarin peel lead, supported by a unique vinous character reminiscent of white wine grapes. Background malt is clean and lightly bready, with neutral fermentation esters that allow the hops to shine.

Taste. An immediate blast of juicy tropical fruit and sweet citrus flavors. Ripe mango and mandarin orange dominate the mid-palate, followed by a subtle, sophisticated grape note. The malt profile is supportive and grainy, providing a soft backbone without caramel sweetness. Bitterness is low-to-moderate and well-integrated, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish with lingering fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable silky, smooth texture derived from the addition of oats. Carbonation is moderate. No harshness or astringency is present, with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
